The Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Warren County is collaborating with local law enforcement from Franklin and Lebanon Police Departments, and Hamilton and Clearcreek Townships for the annual Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. Bring expired and unused medications to a drop-off site listed in this article for proper disposal by law enforcement. No questions will be asked. Prescriptions drugs only. No needles, syringes, or liquids will be accepted. A drop box will be available at the Franklin Walmart (1275 E. 2nd St. Franklin, OH) on Saturday, April 29th from 10am -2pm.
