POLICE DEPARTMENT

department information
The Carlisle Police Department is committed to serving our community and improving the quality of life experienced in the City’s neighborhoods. The men and women of the Carlisle Police Department are dedicated to serving those who live in, work in, go to school in, or visit the City of Carlisle.

The Carlisle Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency, providing professional police services 24 hours a day. The department has 7 full-time police officer positions, 1 civilian support staff position, and 2 reserve police officer positions. The Warren County Department of Emergency Services (located in Lebanon) provides the City's call-taking and dispatch service for police services.

The Police Records and Administration offices are located in the Town Hall building at 760 West Central Avenue, and are open 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Citizens requiring non-emergency information, such as copies of police reports, can contact the department during these hours at 937.746.0117.
The Police Department is located at 474 Fairview Drive, adjacent to the Carlisle Service Department.
crime line
The Police Department has set up the Carlisle Police Crime Line - a phone number residents are encouraged to use to provide tips and information about suspected criminal activity. Residents can report a crime by calling the Crime Line, or submitting information online by clicking the button below.

937.550.0500

The Crime Line number is 937.550.0500.  The Crime Line number is an unmanned voice message system that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The system is checked daily by police personnel.  Callers may remain anonymous.  However, the police department is encouraging callers to leave their names and contact information in case the police need further clarification about the information provided.

Since the Crime Line will be strictly a voice message system and is not be manned by police personnel, residents who see a crime in progress or need to speak directly to a Carlisle Police Officer should still dial 9-1-1 or call Warren County Dispatch at 937.425.2525.
