Welcome to the Carlisle, Ohio web site. We are a city of 5000 people located in the Dayton - Cincinnati metro region. Our city is home to a fine school system, a diverse business and industrial base, and a strong family oriented community.

Carlisle’s growth resulted from its early start as a railroad town. If you drive through our city, you will still see our ties to the railroads. With the construction of three industrial parks in the last 15 years, we have actively solicited commercial and industrial businesses for our town.

Despite the moderate growth we have encouraged, and the business development, we still maintain our small town rural atmosphere.
